If you got the chance to redo your wardrobe but could only get it from one store, then It’s Just Peachy would be the place to go. You’ll find cozy sweaters, soft knit cardigans, fun socks, cute purses, seasonal t-shirts, and so much more in the store. You’ll also find the best workout clothes made with high-quality fabrics and showcasing unique designs that no one else will have.
Lindenhaus Imports is the exact store you would expect to find in a Bavarian town. Step inside and you will find a wide variety of German-made gifts ranging from cuckoo clocks to nesting dolls, beer steins, and everything Christmas related. You won’t find any cheaply made knock-offs here. Everything is imported straight from the source in Scandinavia, Europe, and all corners of the world.
Find all the best country-chic clothing and decor to fill your car at the Village Peddler. This is one of the favorite spots to find unique pieces of jewelry, but you will rarely only leave with one piece. Wander over to the quilts section and you’ll want to redecorate the house to match the intricate designs in their deco.
Nacoochee Village is an absolute must-see when visiting Helen, but missing the Nacoochee Village Antique Mall is almost a cardinal sin. Discover the area’s largest antique mall, filled with treasures and gifts that anyone can marvel at. Walk through a store of pure nostalgia. Before you leave the store, you will probably say something like “Mom had one of these when I was growing up” or “I haven’t seen one of these in years”.
The Helen Glassblowing Shop is a whimsical stop that will transport you into a different world. Every beautiful gift is made in house by (guess who) Tim who has run the shop for 30 years. You’ll find a wide variety of toys from simple shapes safe for infants to complex wood puzzles that will stump even the brightest. Engrave any toy with a personal message for only $5 to give the perfect gift.
No one in Helen is upset when it rains or snows because hopping from store to store is so much fun.
